The 129 checkpoints
- 1-There are 129 listening checkpoints in the city that share subjective stories from the 1970s-1980s, connecting history with public space.
- 2-Each checkpoint is associated with an audio file.
- 3-Checkpoints have an active area radius that determines when and for how long to play the corresponding audio file.
How does it work?
- -The app tracks the user’s location in real-time.
- -Once the user enters a checkpoint’s active area, the corresponding audio file starts playing and stops once the user leaves the radius.
- -Users can tap on checkpoints to display a callout with a brief description of the story and listen to the audio file if desired.
